The amazon kindle...worth it?

Thinking about getting one today, what's everyone's opinion? Worth it? Also I read books mainly on the mafia, reckon they will be in the kindle store? "Ice man" is the next I want to read. Cheers in advance!

Bit mixed on this myself. Kindle makes me a few bucks but I wouldn't get one myself. Too old-fashioned, don't even have a smart phone.

Very hand and very good. Saves carrying a book/books in your bag if you're travelling somewhere. I imagine you'll be able to find what you want in the Kindle store.

going to get the basic kindle based on advice and a couple of reviews - the only thing is the COOP have a kobo for £49.99 - so is the extra £40 worth it. I ignored Lou Caropenters comment.

i like mine.but i've noticed i'm not so willing to stick with a book that hasnt grabbed me,as i was before.the ready library at my fingertips,makes me less willing to "stick it out,it might improve".

I only buy books I really want to read, so I tend to stick them out. I went through a stage of buying a shit load at a time and most of them are still on the shelf
