    Anyone know if i can put DOC files and Adobe Acrobat documents on them? Got 2 books saved from ages ago and would like to put them on when i get one, but not sure if i can.

    Just set our lasses up and it mentions in the bumph it reads docs and pdfs

    Use either calibre to convert the files to mobi or email them to your kindle with convert in the subject and the conversion is done automatically. It will read them anyway but mobi is more user friendly

    are they quite easy to set up and use ? how long does it take to download an ebook from amazon

    Getting the books is much like getting music / film these days . . . you can rob them from torrent sites for nowt
