I;m not sure the pair of them together is the answer....Welbeck works his butt off just behind either but how do we play with them both front running.?

Play Welbeck on the left with license to get forward or centrally as much as he wants when we attack, have Bent and Gyan up front and have the right sided midfielder be someone who can tuck in and play central midfield when Welbeck roams.
