The characters are a little bit clunky (could Hilly really be *that* much of a bitch?) but I did enjoy it. At points, you want to do a little cheer.
I'm not reluctant to say it's a women's film - lots of very strong female performances. |

Just goes to show how appearances can be deceptive. Looked to me to be gut wrenchingly awful. Silly but comfortable white women learn lessons from their smart and sassy but less affluent maids.

I think the marketing department would be horrified to read that, Cat! For 'silly but comfortable' substitute 'ignorant racist' and you'd be off to a better start, then throw in some police brutality, murder and a healthy dash of coprophagia and you might be getting warmer!
