What reception will Jones get when we play Stoke?

Personally I thought he was a good player who was often lazy.
He was excellent in defence in certain games.
He pulled defenders away from Benty leaving him free to score a number of goals.
I remember in some games upto 4 players were marking Jones.
If we do not have a top striker signed by Friday I will be well pissed of tbh.
We are piss poor up front when Bent not on form.

He is not fully fit for the start of the season.

I think Jones deserves a great reception IMHO

1..All depends on how we are doing in the league
2..All depends how Stoke are doing in the league
3..All depends on how many goals Jones has scored for Stoke
4..All depends on how many our 2nd striker has scored for us

Good post, infact i think its your first ive agreed with. Rember the lording people were doing for heskey before the world cup how he takes the pressure off rooney and helps the other foreward jones was very much like that for us. Expect on his day he also was everything heskey was not ie a goal threat. I hope he gets a good recption but the way the bairns are hiding there dissapointment on here by lashing out and saying how shit he was anyway, i doubt it.
