Seems like a decent lad from twitter and stories i've heard about him, hope he can come back as strong as before we really could use him right now

He was never fantastic before his injury , he had a good spell on the right and looked like he had improved during pre season after being moved back into the center, but people are making him out to be the answer to all our problems .

He is another striker who is far from proven at premiership standard and relied heavily on pace which will no doubt be effected through his injuries .He had/ has potential but i don't think he will ever reach the level that he could have prior to the injuries .

He will have been out longer then Meyler by the time he eventually recovers and we all have our doubts about him .

..Jeez ...a whole load of assumptions there mate - he might be affected by his injuries but might not! .....when he is fit he can be judged, no-one knows until we know - he may not yet be proven at Premiership level but he was in fine form when he was injured and there is no reason why he can't return to the same level.

When he got injured against city we were going nowhere.
Campbell off, Welbeck on and we were a much improved team.
As IB says he is being made out to be some sort of talismanic superstar when in fact he is decidedly average, and as a premier striker decidedly below average in terms of goals per games played.
OK to have in the squad but not good enough to start
