Ipads
Thinking of getting an ipad 1 as I travel around alot. Anyone got one?
What are the pro`s & cons of them? ie are they any good for watching films on? is the touch screen good? got long battery life...etc. Looking at a few reviews the ipad 2 doesn`t look much better than the old ones and the prices are coming down alot now. Whats the wise SMB opinion? |

I got one last week and I love it. Browsing is great on it, the apps and games are cool. I put VLC on mine (no longer on app store) and transfer avi's onto it via iTunes and it's awesome for watching stuff on, if you have wifi/3G then the BBC iplayer app is awesome

Had one a couple of months and I'm not convinced TBH. It's a nice thing to have, and if you travel a lot it would probably come into its own for movies, music, games, and the net. But for us and our circumstances, it's a fairly superfluous edition to the gadget collection.
