Today totally gone.. been gone where we live for a while. last place in the country looses it today.

Use to love it. Such a clever idea. Always remember watching there scores come in on it. Such a simple interface.

Enter the number the page loads. It was nice a clear. Obviously times have changed and it became irrelevant. Still thing the red button could learn a lot from its simplicity.

Anyone else sad to see it go

Yeah loved it 140 on ITV and 302 on BBC. Will be missed.

Remember when we got it when I was a kid, use to spend hours on it

Channel 4 had some good content on their pages. The quiz Bamboozle (?) and their music pages Planet Sound (?).

But it was the news and sport on BBC that I will remember most. Watching TV with Ceefax in the background waiting for the page number in the top corner of the screen to change and then frantically switching over to the text to see who had just scored.

Didn't Gary Linekar once say that he preferred watching Wimbledon play on Ceefax?
