Not nervous, I think Short is pushing us forward and upwards but I do miss him.

I have been following Sunderland since 1969 and the most worried I have been about our club was just before Quinn took over. Its the only time I seriously thought we might go completely belly up or drop like a stone.

A sustained run in the premier league with real stability and an owner able to push us further was a pipe dream then.

Where we are today is down to the vision and pashion of one man, and yes he might not have been perfect but Sunderland never is, I don't want perfect I want someone who who thinks like me, he did and I'll miss him.

The question was are we nervous without it him. People making reasoned comment on his tenure isn't having a pop at him
