Right I'm bored.
So, will someone prove me wrong.
FYI, I'm playing devil's advocate here.
When I'm born, I don't choose to be black, or gay etc, and so it would be wrong for society to punish me as a result of this. I should get the same income as if I was straight and white and not be discriminated against because I'm black or gay, because ultimately I had no say in whether or not I'm either of these things. It's totally arbitrary.
So, if I'm born without any footballing ability, which is totally arbitrary, then why should someone who is naturally gifted at football eg David Beckham get rewarded in ways vastly greater than me? How is that fair? What did he do to 'deserve' his talents? Do any of us 'deserve' our talents?
Also, before someone says 'but he worked hard', surely the ability to work hard is also a talent some people are gifted with?
