Default Nzogbia and Richardson playing together down the left

imagine - they are both left midfielders come left wingbacks.

maybe between them they would usually get a tackle in and pace does allow you to regain position often when you have been caught out.

we would be more dangerous on the break.

Nzogbia will play on the right wing IMO.

Not sure about N'Zog,but tackling is not the best part of Rico's game!

That's what I was thinking. It'll be nice to have someone cutting in and taking a shot for once.

Not the best and gives away the odd freekick but he is always willing to track back and get stuck in.

Tackling can be learn't, IF he takes the time to learn the new position without whining and moaning.

I think he'd mainly play left if we got him, which is a big if at the moment of course, but i think the pace and ability of these two down the left, overlapping etc, would be such a threat full backs would have to sit back and we would become better defensively. I'd love us to get N'Zogbia but i think Wigan would just hate to sell anyone to us so it's very doubtful

If we can get N'Zogbia and have him on the right, Steed on the left and two attacking full backs we could be a bit of a force. Malbranque looked much more effective cutting in from the left, N'Zogbia could do the same on the right, and that should leave space for the full backs- we just need to ensure we dont play Bardsley! Plus N'Zogbia and Steed could swap positions every so often to give the opposition a fresh problem- I'm actually getting hard just thinking about it, we'd better sign the lad then I can finish meself off

Your right there. Football these days seems to be all about playing on the break. How many games do we watch when a team is well on top, but the opposition go down the other end and score
