That Henderson has maybe, just maybe had enough?

The stick he got at games at times last season was outrageous, paticularly Birmingham and Man City away. Birmingham being by far the worse, near the end he overhit a free kick to the back post iirc and dozens in our end began to boo towards him, now at the end of the day he is a human being and he isnt going to forget that.

So maybe he's just reflected on it and thought, sod this, why should I bother?

Maybe so, i agree it shouldnt be in any way a sole reason for someone to leave, but it cant have helped imo. If him wanting away is the case like

The fans' treatment of Henderson at times last season was shocking like. Too many people seemed to want him to fail and/or have massively unrealistic expectations of how a 20 year old in his 2nd Premiership season should be performing. I said it since he first broke into the team - he's a class act, everybody in English football knows it (Capello, Bruce, Pearce, now Dalglish apparently) and some of our fans are fucking clueless. I honestly think if he leaves he will shine and the Henderson-haters will be left with egg on their faces (although by then the same people will probably be complaining that we sold him too cheaply).

Never mind trying to blame the fans, if he goes (and he would be a fool not to) it's because he will gain financially (set up for life) to a bigger club with a real chance of winning something. They are the only reasons worth mentioning, nothing to do with the fans here, absolutely foolish to bring that up.

I just presume he's weighed out the pros and cons of moving to Liverpool and the pros far outweigh the cons so he's off.

Surely you've been on here long enough now to realise that if anything in the slightest negative happens at this club a number of posters will convince themselves it's all the fans fault and everyone (themselves apart) is a twat
