Some git has nicked my road tax refund

I sold my car at the end of Dec and sent away for a tax refund. I only had the car 3 months and calculated that I'm due about £150 roughly as it is £235 yearly. I waited and waited and nothing came so I called DVLA and they said it could take 6 weeks, so again last week I called back to be told it was sent on the 14th Jan and had been cashed. I told them I havent received it and I certainly dont have the money only to be told that I need to report it to the police and abtain a crime number before DVLA will do anything.

did you sell it to a dealer , if so they will have your cash fom the tax disc
