    what about colback? he's shut down johnson entirely. mcclean needs a mention too as those 2 were immense dealing with city all match.

    No argument - but considering the reps, those 3 stand out for me. Sess was good (though he should have squared that ball), same with O'Shea (except for 2 brain farts). Vaughn was very busy too and even Elmo did some good stuff.

    Indeed. Not a Cattermole fan but he was absolutely awesome today, best performance from anyone in a red & white shirt in a long time

    Cattermole was class. I was very worried about Gardner being rb as I felt he looked well out of place against Everton but felt he did really well.

    Thought everyone was solid today, especially the midfield. Didnt neccessary play well with the ball but the workrate and commitment was brilliant.

    Barring some misguided passes here and there I think cattermole has mostly played well this season.

    Gardner has actually impressed me recently.

    He played well against everton. Totally stopped baines as a threat.
