This is hopefully true as Ferdinand must be on far too much money at the club. If he goes and Bramble comes in, I wouldn't be too fussed as at least £20000 a week will be saved. But with Noz on his way, Bramble could well be his replacement. We need to get rid of all the deadwood on huge contracts before we can start aiming really high. Ferdinand, McCartney, Taino, Malbranque, will all be on very good deals.

£20000 a week, more like 0 hopefully, 1 player out, 1 player in with no expence ? makes sense that.
Rather have Anton anyday over Shambles... Fact

Why? I'd be interested to see what the weekly salaries of those players is.

Besides, I don't think he was suggesting SM should go.

Ah right. If he was suggesting Steed should go then he should give his head a shake. I imagine he will be on a fair wedge like.

Malbranque was very good at the end of last season, but lets be fair did very little before that for nearly a season, and he will certainly be one of the highest earners at the club.

I'd rather neither Anton or Bramble were no where near our starting line up, but if paying Anton what must be near £40000 a week to sit on the bench makes sense to you...

Like I said, be interesting to see

However, I hope he can carry his form from last season on. Great player on his day

That's irrelevant on his current form tbf. Brucie gave him the kick up the arse what was needed and he came back better than ever.

One particular performance stands out to me. Spurs at home, he was fucking sublime.
