Default Safc v Bolton past games

One at the SOL certain it was under keane.

We were going through a bit of a slump

Always remember ellis short been on the pitch ( or he mightve been in the dressing room depends which papers you beileve ) geeing the players up .

    We absoultely murdered Bolton 4-0

Know it was a night match.

I'd settle for that score today

    massive cock up

    It was agaisnt west brom.

Just checked in the book it was under Bruce we'd lost 3 on the belt

Then murdered west brom 4-1 at home

I always thought it was v Bolton

Need to put more coke in me vodka

Away 1975 , got beat 2-1. I believe Fat Sam was playing for them at Centre Half and another lad I believe called Roger Jones at Centre Half??

And of course the return when we beat them 2-1 at Roker park in front of 52,00

    Happy days

FA Cup 3rd round January 1980.

We lost only one home game in all competitions that season and were promoted.
Bolton won only one away game in all competitions that season and were relegated.

    This was that one game!

McDonagh was in goal for them, Neil Whatmore scored the only goal, and John Hawley picked up an injury that would keep him out for the rest of the season.

On the plus side the Mags lost to Fourth Division Chester and began their long slump from top to mid-table while we went up

I can't remember any 4-1s against West Brom.

    I remember a 4-0
    But that was under Sbragia
And it wasn't a night game

Aye, under Bruce, Campbell got the first one within a minute off a cracking Cana pass, then Bent got a hat-trick as we beat Bolton 4-0. It was the end of the first year's bad run.

Bolton haven't beaten us since Nov 2008, (4-1 Bolton at the SoL)

We beat them 4-0 in March 2010 at SoL, on a Tuesday Night. (Campbell, 1st Min, BŁnt Hatrick inc Pen) - Bolton 10men after Ricketts was shown red after 73 mins
