People have Wigan going down
... but if that Boselli lad is proving to be a success then they've got a three men attack (if they choose to emply them all together) that could almost play for a title chasing team. Rodallega, Boselli, N'Zogbia... decent player on plenty of other positions as well... IF they get to keep their players, they could be the surprise package in my eyes and could even end up top half... I think they'll shift one good player though (N'Zog or Figueroa) and end up #12-16 .... anyone punter who knows what you can get on Wigan staying up or place themselves a bit up in the table?

They won't keep Nzogbia, Fig roll aint all that good, the new fella I expect will struggle to begin with and be starved of service without nzogbia ..... the Manager is shit and the chairman is determined to line his own pockets, ultimately resulting in Wigan either going down or staying up by the skin of their teeth. (my opinion)

McCarthy and Moses are going to be top players anarl. I think they'll be safe with a bit to spare even if they sell N'Zogbia.

I don't agree with their manager being shit. But yea, they may very well struggle - but could also do very well if they'll keep their players.

for my part I expect Boselli to be a very good player for Wigan this year.

I think there are at least half a dozen worse teams but a lot does depend on who they keep.

They've also signed right back Ronnie Stam from Twente, who was in the preliminary Dutch WC squad and is quite good from what I've seen and heard.
They won't be relegated, and if they keep all their players and if they aren't hit by injuries on key players, they could challenge for top 10.

Rodallega and title chasing side??
And N'Zogbia is a canny player and would be good for us, but he's nowhere near that level yet.

There is a reason why they seem to slipping down the league season on season lately...

Agreed, think Wigan could do well this year, they are a lot better than a lot of the dross in the league
