    Haway recommend me some smart/casual winter footwear. Nee trainers theyre for teenagers and dykes.

    I bought some Karrimor waterproof trainers last month with hods of grip on the soles...

    But my Timberland leather trainers with hardly any grip are less slippy on the wet paths.

    So how does this work? Is it because the Timberland soles have more surface contact and are made of rubber?
