Why did MON sub out Seb and Vaughan? Thought both were playing well and I know I wasn't the only one who thought we'd have liked to have had Seb on that free kick from 20yds out that Gardner plowed into the wall.

I don't mean to complain. And Gardner did well. I just know that if it had been Bruce making those substitutions, I'd have lost my rag.

Larsson looked absolutely knackered. He'd stopped tracking his men with quite the same gusto. In fairness, Armand Traore is a right little energetic shit. Vaughan was just having a poor game.

Fair enough. Were you at the match? I was only able to catch the second half as my son had a doc's appt.

Nah. A trip down to London 4 days before Christmas when we have a baby arriving in 10 weeks was not something I was going to risk the wrath of a heavily pregnant wife for! Was a stream for me.

was just about to post this

i was suprised when he brought vaughan off for colback, thought cattermole was a red card in waiting and when he took Larsson off for Gardner I was thinking well how are we gonna take advantage of any last minute free kicks or corners.

However i've been proven a tit and couldnt be happier, O'Neill has yet again got us 3 points by fantastic substitutions.

I thought it was just a negative tactic designed to make sure we secured the point, instead brought fresh legs as well as allowing Richardson Gardner and sess to bomb on while we had a defensive centre.

Was a cracking game, like. Great feeling knowing we have a manager who wants to win a game rather than just make sure he doesn't lose it. At 2-2, I am sure Bruce would have protected the point rather than going for a winner.
