Haway boys and girls too many miserable faces around here. A bit of positive thinking needed.

1) One of the best goalkeepers in the premiership
2) With Onoura and Richardson possibly the quickest full backs in the division
3) One of the best centre halfs in the world signed up for another season
4) With Turner, Da Silva, Bramble proven cover in the central defender positions that we didnt have last year
5) Cana who was piss poor for half a season replaced by Riveros with us gaining 6 million from those transactions. Henderson a year older and stronger and Al Muhammadi added which gives us pace we didnt have previously. Reid, Zenden, Meyler giving good cover in the midfield positions and expect us to bring in another.
6) Still have the one of the best goalscorers in the premiership over the last 4 years - good support in a much improved Campbell and Welbeck and expect another coming in by the 31st August.

I'm fairly pessimistic for Saturday, but I'm starting to like the direction we're taking with the Jones sale. If Bruce gets one or two faces in before the close of the window we're looking good, if not I reckon we're going to be short in striking and midfield options.
