Thanks for contacting us regarding the BBC One programme ‘Match of the Day’ which was broadcast on 11 February.

We understand you were unhappy with the programme as you felt there was insufficient coverage and analysis of Sunderland's performance.

The programme tries to cover the big stories, talking points and also the most entertaining aspects of the game. We try to cover the matches as comprehensively as possible but unfortunately we can’t please all of the fans all of the time and some will think we neglect important aspects of a match.

Nevertheless as we’re guided by the feedback we receive I've registered your complaint on our audience log. This is a daily report of audience feedback that's made available to all BBC staff, including members of the BBC Executive Board, the production team for ‘Match of the Day’ and other senior managers.

The audience logs are seen as important documents that can help shape decisions about future programming and content.

Thanks again for taking the time to contact us with your concerns.

I'd love to organise a massive e-mail campaign to MOTD and the local regional tv companies outlining what a bunch of biased, shite talking twats they are.
