Ipad 2 in Canadian Duty Free

No idea on price in Canada but I had one shipped from US a few weeks back - if you get stopped at customs you'll be whacked with VAT / import tax so if you buy one discard the box over there and pop ipad in your hand luggage

You'll probably need a UK charger as you'll only get the poxy 110V jobbie when you buy in canada. Also, there's generally not a lot of electrical stuff in the duty frees in Canada/US (not like some UK airports).

The 3G iPads are made for specific carriers and are not compatible with others. So you'll be OK with wifi but not 3G

Dunno about that but weirdly there seems to be no ID from Canada, just VAT
