Default Keep calm and carry on!

Quiet window so far for the majority of clubs in the premier league especially those teams at our level.
The club is in good hands, when the signings are made and the season has started I believe the optimism will be back.

30% of those are free, and another 20% undisclosed, which mostly means "next to free". There are probably only one or two in those groups that we might have been interested in quality wise. So far, most transfers have been mopping up the scraps. Only 20% have been for more than £5m. Given how much extra cash the PL teams are getting this season, you have to say it's quiet.

Thanks for that, haven't been able to keep up to date recently - haven't missed much by the looks of that. Silly season yet to begin and I feel relaxed about our dealings; perhaps TOOSB should do another transfer feelings poll.

Thought that the new tv deal starts next season, not this one?

Apart from the top 5 clubs I would say %95 of those signings would be classed as underwhelming by the majority on here.
Still stand by what I said its been quiet, a lot of signings listed are no more than squad players. We have ample squad players its a different standard of player I believe we will be looking at.

How many of those would you take?

It's mainly newly-promoted clubs getting bodies in, as we did. The OP said it was especially quiet for teams around us and going by your post, it is.

Sides like Norwich, Swansea and West Brom were around us last season. There's no reason why QPR, West Ham and Southampton aren't around us this coming season. We've hardly got a team packed full of stars. This will be our 6th sucessive season in the top flight and we're still lacking quality in a number of areas. For a club of our size to not have a proper striker is desperate stuff. It's not like we need to make one or two changes, we need to make several.
