Not going to hijack Greedys thread

Been asked if I'd like to go in January of next year.

Not a place I've ever considered really, what with the long flights and I really prefer weekend city breaks or a week lying beside a pool.

Would it be worth the long flights and using three weeks of leave for?

Three weeks, yes. Wouldnt bother going for less than that though tbh.

It's a country I've never been that fussed about going to tbh, it's just life spain or Tenerife but bigger and with English speaking criminals...

Don't get me wrong though I wouldn't pass the chance of going if I was getting a good deal. Like yourself though the long flight time is a bit off putting,

Couldnt agree less mate. (about oz, not france)

I've only been to sydney but found the locals were friendly, straight talking and good for a laugh. Was there for three months and was very impressed all round.
