Mortgages
Alreet lads,
Feel free to tell me to f erked for being nosey but I'm looking at getting a mortgage soon...hopefully It'll obviously differ from person to person but what % of your net pay (per household) goes solely on your mortgage? Is there are rule of thumb I should be looking at? Again, it'll differ from person to person as different outgoings/debts/kids will have an effect... I've done a budget and that so know what I'll have spare after each month but I'd just be interesting to know other people's circumstances/positions... Ta in advance |

We each put in £400 for the mortgage n bills.
We were in a flat that was £700 a month rent so we dont really miss anything 01:02 PM.. |

Too much of what I take home goes on my sodding mortgage...
I think it's about 55%. Which is why I'm getting a flatmate!

Only 15% but I had switched to interest only when made redundant and left it as was hoping to sell , when it switches back will double
