iPad 2
Firstly let's make this clear. Fuck off with your overpriced, pretty, gadget, anti apple bullshit, I'm looking for advice not a fucking lecture from some Microsoft loving geek.
Right, so the iPad 2. Was going to get the iPad 1 as I can't see the huge difference apart from the cameras. But most retailers have lowered the price to £399 (16gb wi-fi) and with Tesco and Quidco I can get 30 quid cashback plus 800 clubcard points. That makes it more attractive. Has anybody seen a better deal elsewhere? Will have to wait obviously as everywhere sol out currently.

To sum it up briefly maye:
If you have never used an iPad 2 then an iPad 1 is absolutely fine! The iPad 2 had dual core cpu, better graphics processor, double the ram and is lighter/thinner. If none of that make any difference, go for the 1st gen it is still better than all other tabs. |

I've had mine a fortnight (from the US via eBay) and I'm not really bowled over - still using my iphone to surf etc , going to give it another two weeks and Chad might be going back on eBay ... Looks lovely in his red leather case tho ..

Got the missus an ipad1 a few backs. She loves it, just wish there was a way to remove the request for password everytime you want to install an app.

The iPad 2 is about 4 times quicker than the iPad with a much better screen.
I got the 64gb 3G version - I love it, although I couldn't really find a justification for buying it, I'm pleased I did.
