Default 4 of the bottom 5 in our next 4 matches

An Opportunity to put ourselves in a very nice place by Christmas.

Nailed on we'll get less points than we did off Chelsea,Liverpool,Arsenal and City.

We will stuff it up no doubt. But lets hope that this is a new Sunderland and we will beat these teams.

    This is getting ridiculous now.

Every time anyone mentions us playing teams beneath us they're instantly advised that we'll fuck it up ........... we're not supposed to able to beat the top 6 so that only leaves ourselves we're capable of beating.

Ah well 6 points I suppose

I'm confident that we won't see our traditional mid season slump this time around. We have a stronger squad these days and can handle the inevitable injuries and suspensions better.

Last season was unreal for the number of times we had to change our back five. I don't think we named the same team 2 games running, certainly not during that poor run.

Just to help you out...I am sure you are being pessimistic and will be delighted if we get loads of points.

    I know mate.

There should just be an automatic response, set by the mods, to say we'll lose to a small team after beating a big team

Despite how well we played at Chelsea, when did you become convinced we were going to win?

For me it was when the third goal went in!

are we half way up the SAFC rollercoaster or coming over the top? We'll know soon. Better to play bottom teams now than at the end of the season when they are scrapping for their lives...
