    Default photoshop alternative

    hey all, saw this on a sony flickr group i often visit and it looks good for a free alternative to photoshop, works similar and just opens in your browser.

    had a quick play with it last night and it seems canny.

    'The Gimp' is also supposed to be alright. It's free too.

    Though I use a combination of Lightroom and Photshop (rarely use photoshop like).

    That's actually not bad at all. I'm not sure I'd use it for detailed processing but for day to day use it would work fine.

    I like the cross processing tool.

    keeps i've just downloaded both lightroom 2 and photoshop cs4.

    Any tips for a newbie to lightroom? I'm thinking that might be my preferred pp programme.

    Just play with the sliders. Mainly the following sliders:

    Exposure
    Contrast
    Clarity
    Vibrance
    Saturation
