Happy to spend most of his time in Man U reserves, now looking for a payday and taking a step down to come to Sunderland.
How much hunger will he show if he signs then?

Or he fell out with Ferguson before start of last season and was dumped in reserves because of it. Before then he had his fair share of games

Whilst not in the same league as Vidic he has shown he is more than capable of playing at that level and more than capable of being decent for England.
Would be the best defender at the club if we signed him.
