RATM @ Leeds 2008. Best band I've ever seen live, and it'll take some beating! Was right at the front too

    Elvis Costello at Glastonbury 1987.

He did a 1hr acoustic solo set with a plain red cutain backdrop and a gold braid rope which was superb. Chatty and joking he had the crowd eating out of his hand - but he announces that "I have someone I want you to meet" - he pulls the chord, the curtain falls and there's the fucking Attractions belting out the chords to Oliver's Army (Dancing Queen).

The place went nuts and then kept on going nuts to the rest of his electric repertoire.

Believe me, good as they were, that set was a pale immitation of 1990's Rage.

    Orbital - Glastonbury 1994

    David Bowie - Glastonbury 2000

    Nirvana - Reading 1992
