This - we have changed a hell of a lot.
Should hear my Indian pal go on about those Pakistani guys in Rochdale when I told him about it.
Even very middle class Thai's I know are just completely racist in day to day life. I think they still miss the "Darkie" toothpaste they had to change the name to "Darlie" after an outcry. If you see some of the TV adverts with blacked up Thai's dancing around the pot you would think it was the 1930's.

The educated ones at work know not to say anything at work - so they know it is not acceptable in that "Culture" but get them outside of work and its just anything goes.
The Malays speak openly about the racism they receive from the Chinese here - I have heard stand up comedians make jokes about it.
