Whats the problem with it?

Just had this conversation with some one at work... he was against torture.

I can tell you know that if there was someone stood infront of me who had planned to blow up an airport they would be getting more than a bit waterboarding!

As with all forms of torture its great for extracting information from those who have done wrong or who conspire to do wrong... but is it right to use on a potentially innocent person because they are suspected?

As with any forms of torture, you can get anybody to say anything.

Would I torture somebody to get information that would save family? Yes.

Do I think the State should torture people to do the same thing? No.

It begs the question...What new torture could replace it?

I think that tomato should be cooked (fried) with it's skin on then place on their mouth and whilst hot and then burst. That will teach the fuckers.
