    I live in Kenya and have been involved in such a project, the beneficiaries really appreciate every shirt, sock and football boot sent to them, really makes a difference. There already exist massive sanitation, food and education programmes anyway, go to Gigiri in Nairobi and you'll find offices of pretty much every NGO and charity you can think of.

    Football projects are most welcome IMO.

    Russell Foster Youth League are currently collecting boots to send to South Africa. Just before Christmas we sent over 90 pairs and currently we have a collection of close to 200 which will be going very soon.
