Default Interesting article about the transfer market

    Here

It's mainly about Citeh and a bit out of date with its gossip but notable for a few paragraphs about how slow the market is and how few people are buying. Apart from the City spending spree we're one of the more active
buying clubs at the moment IMHO. Five players in already and possibly a couple of big deals to come.

As has already been pointed out by someone on here ,we have probably had more money in from transfers than we have spent.
Which is commendable but we still seem to be wanting to bring players in,so this is an excellent opportunity to progress this season. Lets hope the money gets spent wisely ,unlike the last 50 years

Agree - there's no better time for a buying club with a bit of money and attainable ambitions than now. There's no guarantees that money will be spent successfully because some buys don't work out. What you can do is try to strike a balance between being too reckless and too cautious, to look at players carefully before you sign them, to employ people who know what they're doing and to be looking for the right kinds of players. Fingers crossed.
