    Default Mobile Contract Advice

I've been looking at getting a contract

I don't use my phone that much but how does this sound:

    Applie I-phone 3gs 8gb (free)
    02
    500 free txts
    100 minutes
    500mb data
    24 month contract

    £21.50 per month

    Good, bad or ugly?

    I should have also said.

I'm not an Iphone fan boy in fact I was looking at getting a blackberry again (always had them)

I just saw the above and thought it was a cheeky deal.

Bad and Ugly deal mate... Getting an Iphone 3gs on a 24 month contract is a bad idea.

Iphone 5 will be out later in the summer too. The 3gs is already well out dated

Stick a month by month 3 sim in your Blackberry and wait for Iphone 5. You would be pig sick having a 3gs until June 2013.

I would not pay the £££ they would want me to for Iphone 5

I want value from the phone I buy.

3gs will be selling for next to nowt once the iphone5 hits. 4 will drop as well so you might as well wait. having said that, it could be next year before the 5 comes out.

    Yep, certainly is.

I meant that getting the 3gs now is a bad idea. Just illustrating how old it is.

Apple have a habit of releasing forced OS updates for their latest phones, forgetting that the older ones can't handle them.

They did that with the iphone 3g
