    Rolling eyes don't roll, and laughing boy doesn't move.

    Are you using Internet Explorer, have you recently upgraded it? One of the options in there is to turn on/off animated images.

    no, mozilla. But i have recently downloaded an update. Will have a look through the 'options' again.

    Go to about:config and make sure that "image.animation_mode " is set to its default-value "normal".

    can't see where the about:config setting is, there's a setting in options, content, load images and the box is ticked

    You need to type about:config in the address bar where you would normally type a website address. That should bring up the settings page

    Thanks, but unfortunately that isn't the problem.
    image.animation_mode & images.dither are both set to their defaults.

    Does my crying man still look sad?

    Ive now realised that some other pictures aren't showing. e.g. Schindlers pic in the wallpaper thread.

    Please help if you can....

    All the above also happens when I use Internet Explorer. Is it likely to be a setting on my firewall? I use Zone Alarm. Currently using the Pro version on trial, (though that expires soon)
