Default Bent really doesn't get involved much, does he?

When you listen out for the chorus of booing during the game, you realise how little he actually contributes, outside of scoring.

Don't get me wrong. Scoring is a huge contribution. But he seems to do feck-all else.

His first game for villa he touched the ball for the first time on the 24ty minute as he tapped it past the keeper. That's all hes paid to do

He's a dreadful footballer. Now the goals have dried up it's even more obvious.

When I dared to suggest that n'zogbia was not actually very good earlier in the week I was told that I had cost us the game as he was now "nailed on to score"

    Didn't happen.

    You cant "tempt fate"

What a load of old bollocks.

TBH Bent doesn't add much and he didn't for us.. but he does what everyone needs. Someone to put the ball in the net.

Mind you i can't believe he missed that one on one.

Wickham looked really good today.. !
