Referees: No Friend of Ours!

I see we have K Friend as referee in both games over the New Year period - against Man City and then Wigan.

How do we deserve this? He screwed us against Wigan in November and we have him against the same team. He hasn't refereed a game since then so why do we get him two games in a row now?

are you sure?thought you couldnt have the same ref, 2 games in a row

Go to the Barclays Premier League website and it the main story there at the moment is referees for Dec 30 to Jan 4. Friend is listed for us these two dates.

Check it out and correct me if I've read it wrong.

Feck knows but Len Ashurst is often our match delegate. Have no idea what it means though.

"A pilot scheme was originally launched for six months and it was well received by the referees. So 16 of us who have either managed or played were taken aboard by the Premier League."
