Yeah, it's a great park, I take the kids often, definitely worth going if you've never been.

Really nice place but the bairn was inconsolable when we seen a couple of hasidic(sp?) jews, the big hat and ringlet combo totally freaked her out!

Big community there now. It's the 'courting' ritual you will see in a Saturday lunchtime. The boys walk around together to look at the girls.
I like the model boat enthusiasts on the lake on a morning. My kids loved it there when they were little. |

Was voted best in Britain a few years ago iirc No doubt Newcastle are claiming it as belonging to then! |
