    Default Car Trouble

Right you budding mechanics and experienced car owners, got a porblem with my motor, any bright ideas?

    '55 reg, Mark 5 Astra.

The key fob stopped working yesterday. Tried the spare and thats not working either. Added to this the central locking button in the car now constantly has the light on whether its locked or not.
I can still manually unlock/lock the car.

Any ideas before I get my pants pulled down at a Vauxhall garage?

take the earth of the main battery and reconnect , it usually resets the ECU.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A RADIO CODE IF NEEDED.
