I'd have understood why he stopped to watch if something key/interesting was happening and I'd have just moved me head a bit to look over his shoulder instead of the back of his head, like when you're standing at the match, eg. in the SWC or at away games.

Although you say you were looking at his back, so I gather you might be quite short so you wouldn't have been able to just move your head a bit and see past his shoulder, in which case, fair play I suppose.

Where we sit a family come in every week just as the match is kicking off. They spend the next 5 minutes standing up talking to each other and fannying on. Why don't they get there 10 minutes earlier if they want to do this
