    Not really he's on a months loan? if we get through ourselves and he comes back he may be needed (even for the bench) in our own squad for the FA Cup. If anything its a positive for him as MON hasn't discounted him totally otherwise we would just let him play.

    Exactly - I can see why we've done it, but it's rather short termist. We need to find out whether he can hack it against pl opposition. Massive missed opportunity IMO.

    I'm fully prepared to retract this statement should he score the winner for us in this years cup final ,
