    Default Banned Email Addresses

In order to register on the Ready To Go message boards, we require you to use a fixed and permanent email address.

Webmail addresses such as hotmail, yahoo, lycos, gmail etc are not allowed and if you try to register with one of them you will receive a "banned email address message".

Please register using a fixed (non-webmail) address such as your work email address or the email address given to you by your ISP.

Thats a crap rule that, imo.

What about people who only have one ISP based email address for their whole family?

As the streaker said, we'd much rather not have such restrictions, but after libel action taken against us in the past, part of the settlement was that we would take better action to be able to trace our users if/when asked to by the courts.

We do take privacy seriously, are registered with the data protection people and will only disclose your email address to the police or as a result of a court order against us.

I personally do not know of any ISP that only allocates a single email address. Certainly the one you are with allows you to have up to 10.
