Delay on TV Picture

The words are coming before the mouths move and it is happening on all channels! Started this morning. Any ideas what the problem is and if there is a fix?

Through a sky box?

We have the TV linked to a Sky box but we use the TVs digital broadcast. I could probably remove the Sky box but the back of he TV is awash with crossed wires!

Ah, we sometimes get the problem through the sky + box which is usually resolved with a reboot. Do you have a surround sound system? Ours is connected with a HDMI and an optical lead - there's a setting in the sky box to adjust the millisecond delay. Hope this helps.

No additional sound, just TV speakers. I was going to try a hard reboot but wanted to ask on here first as getting to the TV plug is an absolute chore.
