    Default Car electrics query

My itrip wont work when I plug it into the tab lighter, yet the tab lighter works.

Anyone know what the problem is and how do I fix it?

Also the itrip works in other cars so I know it's not that.

you can get a couple of different size ones that are deeper than others. its probably a shallow 12v socket and your itrip is designed for a longer one

Sounds about right, can you change the socket, or is it easier and cheaper to get a new itrip?

when I had my clio it had a shallow one. I bought a 1 to 3 extender and it did the job. I could then have me phone charging, sat nav on and whatever else I wanted . Wasn't this one, but quite similar
