It depends what you're looking for.

Story - GTAIV, without a doubt.

Ridiculous fun and full online co-op - Saints Row 2.

aye both look decent, was gnna trade in some games thats all, could probably cover the price of these with exchange. What one would you recommend, and do you have any experience with that CeX on fawcett street it seems canny.

Well I prefer games with story. GTAIV is absolutely fantastic in that respect, but it has certainly took a lot of the blatant/slapstick humour that was present in previous GTA games out of this title.

GTA IV is brilliant, in my opinion like.

Haven't played Saints Row before but if it's anywhere near GTA then it'll be good.

GTA IV is one of the most near perfect games there is, brilliant story line which actually gets you emotionally involved...some really good missions too but it's a bit 'grittier' than the older ones. Still some very funny stuff in it though!

GTA IV had a bit of a backlash from people who thought San Andreas should've been the new standard but I've probably put more time into GTA IV (even more again when the lost and damned came out) and don't really miss the ridiculous amount of stuff in SA... think the city could've been a bit less dull but its still a pretty amazing game all things said.

didnt like any of the characters
thought the story was boring
and at night i could see fuck all..but that may just be my tele for that bit

i didnt find it interesting either...imo when they decided to make the near perfect game they forgot to add in those things that made it great in the first place, shit loads of humour an uncomplicated control system and added to many additions i feel it didnt need, i whiled away a canny few hours on it but personally i felt Saints row 2 in particular was fucking hysterical, the characters were superb (Jonny Gat in particular in the courtroom at the beginning had me laughing my fucking hoop off)

the game felt more fun than GTAIV Which imo i only played because i loved the older ones

buy most of my games from there now, even apart from games the staff know there stuff and amazed me when talking about laptop specs as i didnt have a fucking clue, spot on imo...cheap enough anarl which is always good

GTA is much better. The whole gameplay and graphics scream next gen. The story is canny but some bits are just tedious (I hated the camera guy who thought he was "street"). Its worth playing just to get drunk on it and go driving

Saints Row 2 is like an old PS2 game. Graphics are bad and the driving is abysmal. But the storylines in it are full of humour and it ends as a good laugh, once you get over the dodgy gameplay.

Id go for GTA. Not sure what people were expecting from it but seems to be alot of people moaning about it, personally loved every minute of playing it (bar the failing a mission and having to drive for 10 minutes to get back, ended up just getting taxis everywhere).
