Default "sunderland supporters" "real fans" "sky generation"

People talk about supporting Sunderland for 30-40 years.

They are "expecting to lose", expecting the worst" "we are cursed" etc etc.

For fuck sake, sure, this season hasn't gone very well (second half).

Sure, we could have done better.

But it's not a fucking 19 point season.

    Get a fucking grip!

this is my semi happy-clapper revival also, don't you love the use of line spaces?

53 years and no, it's not the 19 point season or the 15 point season. I can look back on many relegations and this set up has got by (barring an almost miracle) by the skin of their teeth. The difference is that money hasn't been as tight as it alway was yet we are no better and if things stay as they are, we are certainties for the drop next season.

I never go to a home game expecting defeat, the problem is I am just not seeing any draws and wins are as rare as rocking horse sh-te.

If anyone wants to get a grip on reality, it's yourself.

    Bruce out! NOW

it's the people who turn up at SOL that are at thier loudest when things are'nt going our way that piss me off......but they are never so vociferous and loud when things are going well or when the lads need the fans' support

So basically the OP's point is if you're not of his opinion then you're wrong!

getting a grip means getting rid of Bruce.

The only reason we are still a Premiership side is down to Bent, and often poor form in the 2nd half of a season can follow through into the next

We have spent a lot of money courtesy of a generous owner and well-meaning Chairman, and there is no semblance of progress on the pitch, that is the difference with the previous 40 years I have witnessed.
