How comes a town with a population of less than 2000 can get all these gigs and we get nowt in Sunderland.

Nah - you have the right place - last of the summer wine vetc....I live in Slaithwaite about 4 miles away - we had a legendary sunderland lads ontour vist - when we played Burnley 5/6 yrs ago.......ask The Streaker.....


think its because venue has beengoing years and all acts say immediately that they want tocome back - its basically an old picturehouse with the downstairs seats taken out

I think it gets mentioned at least once in Simon Armitage's book "Gig" (which is well worth a read BTW). Sounds like a cracking venue! (could do without quite so many tribute acts though)
