starts 8am just like the good old days,anyone remember when it would early morning on bbc and itv,they would film the players waking up, having breakfast,jumping on the bus to wembley and following there every movements.

I fucking loved cup final day, i would watch it all from getting up. Im glad there doing it again. This should be what the cup final is about its what made it so fucking great back then give it the full fucking day. Cant get over there playing fucking league games on the same day.

I used to love Cup Final day. As a kid it was like Christmas. You couldn't wait and it was more memorable for me as the ones I first really appreciated were in the late 70s with the likes of Ipswich v Arsenal in 78 and Arsenal v Man Utd in 79.

I remember how excited I was when we got there in 92. I was 22 but it was like being 8 again, except I was pissed.

I'm only 23, but even in my time it seems the FA cup is nothing like it used to be. I dunno why, but people younger than me, from my little brother who's 13, up to lads I know around my age, just don't seem arsed. I used to love cup final day and even this year with the less than mouth watering man city - Stoke fixture, im looking forward to it.

I can't quite put my finger on why people don't seem bothered. SSN champions league hype up maybe I don't know. I bet if sky had sole rights to the FA cup it would be hyped up to high heaven!
