so wow, the scum play longball every week and we find it challenging to deal with in the derby, then our lack of midfielders forces us to play long ball against them which doesnt work because both our strikers prefer ball played to feet.

Gyan at chelsea, brillant at holding the ball up/ bringing players into play, now all of sudden he can't hold the ball up as the ball is played to him blindly at head height which he wont win or hold up against defenders.

Game was a one off.

So can we please stop calling for old and shit frontmen (Davis and Heskey) to replace Bent.

No need at all, almost past it and not how we play. If we're going to go for one lets go for Doyle but we play better football without one, its what you all were moaning about in august.
